role summary/purpose ge capital real estate
essential responsibilities ·review local and us tax provision calculated by automated oracle tax programs for quarterly close;
·assist in review of quarterly tax reports prepared by genpact india team before submission to cre hq tax department;
·work with genpact india team to assist in reconciliation of all local and us shareholder tax accounts quarterly;
·drive integration of new acquisitions to insure that tax calculations are automated quickly and accurately;
·assist local tax controller and/or finance team with the local tax fas 109 process and work on fas 109 process for us shareholder taxes;
·review country tax templates to estimate effective tax rates and foreign tax credit capacity needs for financial planning sessions three times a year
qualifications/requirements ·bs in accounting or finance, or equivalent
·5-7 years experience with tax department of u.s. accounting firm or u.
·us cpa license preferred. s. multinational corporation
·proficiency in english (proficiency in japanese a plus)
·demonstrated leadership ability
·demonstrated ability to anticipate, identify, present and resolve complex finacnial and tax isuses
·good perosnal computer skills and general understanding of financial reporting systems
·strong knowledge of u.s. international tax provisions
·understanding of fas 109 and experience with accrual reviews and accounting for income taxes.
